GET SNAPPING FOR A CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPH DISPLAYED AT THE NEW WEST HAMPSTEAD THAMESLINK STATION
Network Rail is running a photography competition to celebrate the opening of the new West Hampstead Thameslink station on Iverson Road this December. The winning photographs will be will be part of our grand opening, being reproduced and displayed at the station for all to see.
As the new West Hampstead Thameslink Station will improve the interchange between Thameslink, the underground, and the overground lines; the theme of our photography competition is connections.
Tim Galvani, Network Rail project manager, said: "Passengers are really going to benefit from the opening of the new station and will get the chance to see the picture gallery on the back of the new Iverson Road wall. It’s a great space that will be seen by everyone that travels to and through the station."
When the station opens this December it will link into a new footbridge fitted with lifts, making the station step free for the first time.
Budding photographers can interpret the theme as they see fit, with entries falling into two categories, under 16 and open.
Closing date for entries is Sunday November 13. To enter please download the entry form from the right hand side of this web page and follow the instructions.
